Our adoption process

We follow a thoughtful five-step process to ensure every adoption is a success for both you and your new pet. Our goal is to make a perfect match that lasts a lifetime.

1. Readiness

Evaluate your lifestyle, budget, and time to ensure you can commit to a pet's long-term physical and financial needs.

2. Research

Research the type of pet you are looking for and if they would match your household and lifestyle.

3. Submit an application

Fill out an application for one of our pets. Select references that can speak on your behalf regarding existing or past pets.

4. Meet and greet

We arrange a meet and greet in a neutral zone for dogs. For cats, we recommend scent sharing with a barrier between pets.

5. Adoption finalization

Once the adoption contract is complete and the required fee is paid, a date will be confirmed to bring your new best friend home!

About our animals

We provide insight into their behaviour and temperament, age, and any past, present, or potential future medical concerns. Our aim is to give you a complete picture so you can make an informed decision and prepare for your new family member.

Qualities for a successful adoption

The most important qualities we look for in adopters are commitment and dedication. We follow the "Rule of Three": three days for the pet to settle in, three weeks to learn your routine, and three months to truly feel at home and part of the family. GIGI

Meet Gigi, who is 6 years old, is a very sweet girl who has been with her mom since she was a baby. Gigi's mom is very ill and can no longer keep Gigi and wants to make sure she is in a loving home, like she is in now.

Gigi is shy at first, and will need some time to adjust. If you thing you can be there for Gigi during this difficult time please fill out the form below.

PEBBLES

Meet Pebbles!!!

Pebbles is a 13.5 year mature senior lady looking for a quiet place land and live out her golden years with dignity. She can be the only pet or a low energy pet is also good.

Pebbles has had her world toppled following the passing of her mom, the hospitalization of her dad and it also took it's toll on her brother, who ultimately, reached out to us.

We picked up Pebbles and have her in foster, she is adjusting slowly and is very curious about her new surroundings. She has 3 foster kitty brothers and is observing them from afar, for now.

Pebbles is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Pebbles is also spayed.

MICKEY AND MINNIE

Mickey and Minnie are both young ladies looking for an understanding home. Mickey is quite friendly and social, Minnie is a little reserved but blooms once she realizes she is safe in your presence.

Mickey is 2.5 years old and Minnie is about 9 months. Both are flourishing in foster and will be spayed September 9th.

Mickey and Minnie we let down, sadly by their previous family. They BOTH were abandoned in the home they shared with their family in the middle of the night.

Lets give these two deserving souls the life they were meant to live, one without fear of being dumped ever again.
