Find your new best friend
Welcome to REXPAW'S ANIMAL SERVICE INC., where your journey to adopt a loving companion begins. We're dedicated to finding forever homes for animals in need. Discover our transparent adoption process and learn how you can open your heart and home.
Our adoption process
We follow a thoughtful five-step process to ensure every adoption is a success for both you and your new pet. Our goal is to make a perfect match that lasts a lifetime.
1. Readiness
Evaluate your lifestyle, budget, and time to ensure you can commit to a pet's long-term physical and financial needs.
2. Research
Research the type of pet you are looking for and if they would match your household and lifestyle.
3. Submit an application
Fill out an application for one of our pets. Select references that can speak on your behalf regarding existing or past pets.
4. Meet and greet
We arrange a meet and greet in a neutral zone for dogs. For cats, we recommend scent sharing with a barrier between pets.
5. Adoption finalization
Once the adoption contract is complete and the required fee is paid, a date will be confirmed to bring your new best friend home!
Transparency for a successful adoption
We believe in providing you with all the essential information about our animals. Our transparency ensures both you and your new companion are set up for a lifetime of success and happiness together.
About our animals
When you browse our adoptable animals, you'll find comprehensive details about each one. We provide insight into their behaviour and temperament, age, and any past, present, or potential future medical concerns. Our aim is to give you a complete picture so you can make an informed decision and prepare for your new family member.
The most important qualities we look for in adopters are commitment and dedication. We follow the "Rule of Three": three days for the pet to settle in, three weeks to learn your routine, and three months to truly feel at home and part of the family. A successful adoption is built on patience, understanding, and unwavering love. Contact us at info@rexpawsanimalserviceinc.ca to inquire about your new best friend.

GIGI
Meet Gigi, who is 6 years old, is a very sweet girl who came to us in rough shape. Gigi is spayed and UTD on vetting.
Her whole back was one big matted mess. She has since gotten rid of the matted hair and is flourishing!
She loves to play, and is currently on healthier food to lose the extra weight that prevented her to be able to groom herself properly.
Gigi is a happy go lucky girl!!!
